PARTY? I'LL TAKE TWO

To celebrate the munchkins' birthdays we decided to have a joint party this year. Kielle turned 2 and Khyri will be 4 in March. Since the share the same friends, one big ole shindig was the perfect way to go. There is a traveling gymnastics class that comes to Khyri's school once a week called the tumblebus. We didn't sign Khyri up for the classes at school, but I thought it would be a great idea for their joint party since both of them love to climb on everything!

The tumblebus pulled up at 10:45am and we loaded the kiddos on at 11. Talk about having the party come to you - it pulled right into my neighbor's driveway.

The bus was loaded with everything a toddler loves - a slide, a trampoline, a tunnel, and rings.

Neither of the munchkins got on the rings. hahahah They were all about the slide which, for the record, there is a bigger free one at the playground up the block... *sigh* ahhahahaha

Would you believe they even had a zip line!??

Each gymnastic athlete got a gold medal for their time on the tumblebus. It was awesome!

The bus stayed for an hour and the kiddos got good and tired. We moved inside for some lunch followed by free play time.

Then we brought out the cake and cupcakes - yummy!

We knew we'd have a lot of cards since it was a double birthday party so we decorated the wall with their birthday cards!

Both munchkins got some presents and toys, but the best gift of all was playing with friends!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

The special day is here and the hubby and I were up  last night making Valentine's Day cards for Khyri's classmates. Yes, we had homework. There are 18 kiddos in his class so we had an assembly line going hahahahah. I made simple little cards out of white poster board with red and pink heart outlines. Simple. Inside the hearts we put each student's name.

To "seal the cards with love" we had Khyri practice writing his name on the backs of each card :-)

Hopefully his cards will spread joy. I explained to him that these were Valentines and that they let his friends know that he cares for them. I can't wait to see how much  "love" he comes back from school with today!

Enjoy Valentine's Day! Give someone you care about a hug or a kiss *smooch smooch*

PAJAMA DAY

Well the day I have been waiting for has finally come... nope not a new job... nope not a new house... nope I didn't win the lottery.... Khyri had pajama day at school!

Now let's be clear - I LOOOOVE pajamas. Besides being super comfy, the pajamas they make for munchkins today are soooooo cute and snazzy!

For Christmas Khyri got a lot of Thomas and Friends tank engines that he has fallen in love with. He is completely feeling Thomas right now so what better set of pajamas to wear than Thomas the Train!!!

I'm a little crazy and overboard - we headed out to Target at 7pm Thursday night to get Khyri some Thomas pajamas for Friday morning. Luckily the pjs were on clearance, but in full disclosure, I would have bought them full price - my baby had to be fly!

I was so concerned about his pajama outfit that I didn't even let him sleep in the pjs that night... he instead slept in some regular pajamas that I had gotten from Wally World on clearance last month. When Friday morning came, Khryi woke up and put on fresh pajamas to go to school! ahhaha a mess. But doesn't he look soooo cute??!! :-)

Kielle decided that Khyri shouldn't steal the show in his pajamas. She struck a pose for the camera too. Don't worry Kielle - you'll get your day in the sun soon - Pajama day must be enjoyed by all little people:-)

In addition to pajama day, it was show and tell too! I mean seriously... how much more perfect could this day be?!?! hahahahahahha so in addition to the Thomas pajamas, Khyri brought his Thomas and Friends engine, Edward, and a Thomas the Train book to show his class. This was like the greatest day ever for Khyri (and clearly me too hahaha). All of his Thomas stuff was traveling with him to school! hahaha

Because I mean, seriously, if you're gonna do Thomas - then you need to do it all out :-) hahaha. A week later, Khyri and I are still chillling in his Thomas pajamas (yes they were washed) and singing our favorite theme song together. Move over Natalie and Nat, Here comes Kahlillah and Khyri!

They're two, they're four
They're six, they're eight
shunting trucks and hauling freight
Red and green and brown and blue
 they're the Really Useful Crew
All with different roles to play
round Tidmouth sheds so far away
Down the hill and round the bend
Thomas and his Friends!

ONE. TWO. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

My baby girl Kielle turned 2 years old! Of course for her special weekend we had to have the perfect outfits! We started her birthday fashion show with this cute little diddy and a fresh set of clean teeth :-)

We headed out early Saturday morning to the bank for Kielle's annual deposit. We carried in her piggy bank and emptied it into the change counting machine.

We don't have any pictures of the change actually falling into the machine because some people *cough* Khyri, had to be watched carefully to make sure they didn't lose a finger in on the conveyor belt thingy. The kids of course had a great time; we always have fun at the bank! Our regular teller wasn't there on Saturday so some new employees were introduced to the Mosleys and all of our wonder :-) After the bank, I went to my sorority meeting and the hubby took the munchkins to community service with his Masonic Lodge.

On Sunday Kielle woke up to a Happy Birthday balloon. *cue 50 cent* Go Kielle... Its your birthday...

Once she realized it was going to be yet another special day, she was attached to the balloon permanently.

After a hearty breakfast of cereal and peaches, a treat for Kielle since she rarely gets citrus due to her eczema flare ups, we got her dressed in her suuuupper cute birthday digs.

I can't believe how much she has grown. I thought about the simple things we did during the day, like going up stairs, running, and sitting straight up in a swing, that she wasn't doing last year.  She is coming into her own and enjoying every minute of life. I love it!

We're still working on going down the slide sitting up though! hahahahaha Kielle has managed to create her own method of sliding...

Whatever works!
After going to the grocery store and the playground, we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant, The Border, for a birthday dinner and then we came home for cupcakes.

Kielle didn't like the taste of the cupcakes. Her brother, however, promptly told me to stop taking pictures and eat my cupcake.

Instead of eating the cake, Kielle proceeded to play with the frosting.

Khyri didn't understand the logic behind wasting such a yummy treat. hahahah He kept saying "Kielle is making a mess. Kielle is messy."

Then we opened Kielle's two presents. She got an electronic Leap Frog grocery toy and a Doc McStuffins doctor's kit. I love Doc McStuffins!! Its a show on Disney Jr. (or Netflix LOL) where the girl diagnoses and operates on her stuffed animals. Its a great show and I am determined that Kielle will love this character.

As I type, Kielle is laying in her new big girl bed passed out with a slight smile on her face. *cue Ice Cube* I guess today was a good day :-)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIELLE ELAINE!
