NYE 2010 - PARTY TODDLER STYLE!!

We had an Ob/Gyn appointment on Thursday and since my due date is only a week away, an induction was scheduled for Thursday 1/20. I'm gonna try to get this labor started on my own...so I've pulled out the birth ball, started walking, and eating spicy foods! Hopefully it will work.

These last few weeks I've been really focused on "keeping house" I've been cleaning and just making sure everything is in its proper place. I've spoken with Khyri's daycare about "emergency" drop in when labor starts. I've also brought our 'village' up to speed about what to do with Khyri while Keith and I are at the hospital. Everything is in place and I don't think they'll be too much disruption. *keeping my fingers crossed LOL*

I've finally uploaded some New Years Eve pictures. I took Khyri to a NYE Baby Bash! It was the cutest thing ever. The 'partygoers' were ages 5 months to 5 years old. It started at 10am and there was a countdown and balloon drop at 12 noon! We "rang in the New Year" with our fellow toddler friends Gabi and Myla!

Ofcourse Khyri saw this as one huge playdate! ahhahaha He spent most of the afternoon running around playing with the stars they had on the walls and chasing balls. His favorite though, was the bubble machine station!

 

When the balloons dropped at 12 noon guess who was totally not interested and instead was playing with the colored floor mats! hahaha he missed the whole countdown.

 Well at least he was dressed for the moment with his winter snowman sweater and Happy New Year head gear!!
 

PLAYING THE WAITING GAME

The Mosley family is expanding and I cannot believe it! We're pretty much ready - we've put up a bassinet, organized the infant clothing, washed out the breast pump, and last week I called the hospital to make sure my pre-admission paperwork was in order. Luckily a lot of Khyri's newborn clothes are neutral colors - so we're good on the clothing front. I've actually been staying out of the stores! hahaha January 13th is only 9 days away!

Bmo (Baby Mosley) is growing well and supposedly measuring one week ahead... We'll see. I've been eating a lot. My new craving is banana pudding from Folks Restaurant. Poor Keith - I send him out at least twice a week.

The one thing we are slacking on is choosing a name! eeeks. Since we are "team green" we don't know if we are having a boy or girl. We know for sure that the name will begin with a K. Other than that - its a toss up! We'd like to go into delivery with two choices for a boy and two for a girl. Any suggestions?

Khyri is finally winding down from his Christmas and New Year excitement. Christmas Eve we had our annual Seafood Smorgasbord with shrimp pasta, crab legs, scallops, and asparagus. YUMMY! Christmas day we went to the Carters for dinner it SNOWED IN GEORGIA! That's right, we had about 3 inches here in Smyrna. Khyri racked up the presents - tons of clothes, books and toys.  

The best part of Christmas of course though is - the pajamas! Khyri was looking UBER cute in his holiday pjs! Doesn't he look so festive!??



We are slowly adjusting to making room for our new addition. I'm just worried about Nas and Khyri! ahahah Nas isn't too keen on Khyri (partly because Khyri constantly chases him around the house!) so who knows what's gonna happen when we bring home Bmo. Nas might just become an ALL day outdoor cat for real! Khyri has absolutely no idea what is going on. He is still his silly ole self! Just laughing, giggling and toddling around everywhere. He's gonna get a big surprise soon when there is another LOUD person in this house! haahaah

Hopefully family and friends near and far will be able to see the development of the Mosley Dynasty (as Keith likes to call it). This is new to me so bare with me...
